Ep. 8: Chicken Wars Part 1 - Moist & Juicy

In this episode Jaime, Hector and I are joined virtually by my brother Hiram in Los Angeles.  Hector has a run in with an Arby's employee trying to order a crunchy juicy chicken sandwich. We taste and judge half of the first round of the Chicken wars with battles between KFC and Wendy's as well as Chick-fil-a versus Arby's. Where are all the pickles and what's the white stuff in these things.  Don't judge a book or chicken by it's cover. We decide who will be moving on to the semi-finals. We also take a stab at judging the sandwiches with the new IBCA scoring system according to the code I cracked off a score card.  We talk about why people are offended by the word moist and if there is a better way to order brisket.  We conclude with our Joe tips on whether it's best to brine, inject, marinade, or just seasoning chicken.  Hiram gives  a shoutout to our listeners in Colorado.
